This website collects nothing. The only personal data involved is the optional reader list, which runs off this site.
julianrsterling.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics and no trackers, and has no forms. Downloading a companion file needs no account and no email address.
If you choose to join, the list keeps your email address, your first name if you give it, and the date you joined and confirmed. It is used for three kinds of message only: a correction to a companion file or a new worked case, a short note when a new book comes out, and one message two weeks after you join asking how the book worked for you. It is never sold, rented or shared with anyone else.
The list is hosted by MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Vilnius, Lithuania), which sends the emails on our behalf as a processor. Open tracking is switched off. MailerLite still counts clicks on links as part of its standard delivery reporting. MailerLite's own policy, including its sub-processors, is at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.
The legal basis is your consent, given when you confirm your subscription. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link at the foot of every email; your address is then removed from the list within 30 days.
